Prof. Dr., MD Mustafa Faruk Usta (K)

Prof. Dr., MD Mustafa Faruk Usta

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Faruk Usta was born in Rize in 1968. He graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (1986–1992) and completed his urology residency there (1992–1997). After military service and a short post at Kartal Training and Research Hospital, he has served in the Department of Urology, Section of Andrology at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine since 2000.

In 1993 he completed a clinical clerkship at the Urology Clinic of Heidelberg University in Mannheim. From 2001 to 2003 he was an andrology research fellow at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Most of his clinical work is andrology, focused on penile prosthesis implantation, Peyronie's disease surgery, and microscopic varicocele surgery.

He has 67 articles in refereed journals and multiple international awards. He is a member of ISSIR, ESSM, EAU, AUA, the Turkish Urological Association, and the Turkish Society of Andrology.
