Prof. Dr. Mehmet Akif Çiftcioğlu is a pathologist with over 30 years of academic experience. He began his career at Atatürk University, served as Head of the Department of Pathology at Akdeniz University, and currently holds a professorship at Istanbul Aydın University. His research focuses on urological pathology, dermatopathology, and immunohistochemistry. He has authored over 66 publications in international peer-reviewed journals and 54 in national journals.
